Or, you can combine two or more existing sensors into a group (example if you don’t care whether Left or Right Reading Room Window sensor made the alarm go off, you could combine them into a single zone). Regarding 23 zones, if you want to monitor each individually, then yes you’d need 3 retrofit kits. The manual for the retrofit kit (which you can read online before you purchase the kit) has all the details regarding the acceptable range. The reason I mentioned multimeter is that you’d want to check the resistance of each wire pair you are hooking up to the terminals of the retrofit kit. When I installed mine I was working with a mess of wires without any labels, so there was a lot of trial and error. The good thing is it seems your existing wires are labeled. It is quite easy if you are able to use a multimeter. This also means we won't allow you to share your link on the sub either sorry. And if someone is legitimately trying to help you but you're not getting the answer you want, please don't lash out at people, including the Ring rep. Focus on the subject, not the person making the point. Don't get too heated, don't start tossing ad hominem attacks at people.
